We are currently working in partnership with an established Housing Association located in Buckinghamshire, who are recruiting for an Income Advisor on a 2-year contract, starting February, with a potential to go permanent. This role is on a full-time basis, with 2 days in the office. The rate for this role is £29,804 per annum and it will increase to £31,800.87 per annum from April 2024.

The ideal candidate will have experience working within income services and have good experience of case management.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Responsible for management of a caseload of low-level arrears up to the point of serving a legal notice

• Building lasting relationships with customers to assist the organisation in maximising and protecting rental income

• Working with our Tenancy Sustainment Team to refer customers at risk or in arrears for welfare benefit advice, debt counselling or other services

• Monitoring trends, negotiating realistic repayments plans and taking appropriate legal action if required

• Finding ways to improve the collection of income or helping with complex enquiries

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• Experience working within income services

• Case management
