HR Systems Administrator
3-month contract
Birmingham/ Hybrid


A charity based in Birmingham is seeking an experienced HR Systems Administrator to support a key HR systems project on a 3-month temporary basis.

This role will play a crucial part in the implementation of a new HR system, IRIS Cascade, with the immediate focus on supporting the launch of the core HR module.
The successful candidate will work closely with the HR team to ensure the system is configured effectively and data is accurate ahead of go-live.

Following the initial rollout, you will support the development of additional modules, including recruitment and training, helping ensure the system supports the organisation’s wider HR processes.
This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with strong HR systems experience who can quickly understand requirements, configure systems, and support teams through change.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation and configuration of the IRIS Cascade HR system
  • Assist with the rollout of the core HR module, ensuring it is ready for go-live within the required timeframe
  • Carry out data cleansing and data preparation to ensure accurate migration into the new system
  • Configure system settings and design HR workflows aligned with organisational processes
  • Support the development and setup of recruitment and training modules following the initial rollout
  • Work closely with the HR team to understand requirements and translate them into system configuration
  • Assist with testing, troubleshooting, and resolving system issues during implementation
  • Support users with system queries and help embed new ways of working

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience working with HR systems administration or implementation
  • Ideally previous experience with IRIS Cascade or similar HR systems
  • Experience supporting HR system implementations or upgrades
  • Strong data management and data cleansing experience
  • Experience configuring HR systems and supporting workflow design
  • Ability to work at pace and support a short-term implementation project
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with HR stakeholders
