Job description

We are currently working with a public sector organisation who are looking to recruit for a HR Data Reporting Analyst on an initial 6 month fixed term contract. The position is due to start immediately with annual salary of approx. £45,000. The role offers 4 days working from home and the organisation is based in central Birmingham.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in a similar role, and working knowledge of Oracle is highly desirable.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Creating a number of HR and People reports using Business Objects
  • Responsible for accuracy of People data and have the ability to interrogate anomalies within prebuilt reports
  • Compare HR related to data and processes with similar organisations
  • Providing reporting, analytics, and dashboard creation for People Directorate, and working with data sets across a range of sources
  • Working with IT to streamline / automate reports where possible
  • Drive through People information to generate insights that support the teams to make data-based decision making
  • Maintaining high standards of accuracy and presentation using Excel
  • Utilising analysed data to support with the creation key KPI’s
  • Continuously monitoring all People systems, discovering ways to make enhancements
  • Performing and supporting any new configuration and testing of new functionality within the systems
  • Working on People systems projects
  • Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, with knowledge of Oracle
  • Previous experience analysing data in a HR setting
  • Ability to comply with the principles of GDPR and maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Excellent standard of literacy and numeracy
  • Excellent level of IT literacy
  • Working hours:

  • 36.5 hours per week
  • Monday - Friday - 4 days working from home
  • 9am-5pm ( can be flexible with this)
