We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in North London, who are recruiting for a Housing Officer on a temporary three-month contract.

The position is due to start immediately, with an hourly rate of pay up to £27 via an Umbrella company. There is also an opportunity to go permanent with a salary paying up to £37,000 per annum.

The ideal candidate will have a basic DBS certificate, drive with access to their own vehicle, as well as have proven experience of Housing Officer duties.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Managing a patch of 300-500 properties across the Enfield, Barnet, Haringey and Waltham Forest areas

• Dealing with low level ASB such as noise complaints and neighbour disputes

• Managing the introductory tenancy process

• Performing regular estate inspections

• Reporting repairs

• Arranging viewings of void properties

Experience required:

• Ideally 2 years of experience in social housing

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Good organizational and time management skills

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
