Job description
We are currently working in partnership with a local council based in Surrey, who are looking to appoint two Tenancy Audit Officers on 3-month temporary contracts.
This will be a full-time position, offering a negotiable rate based on experience.
The ideal candidate will have experience with housing management services, including ASB, tenancy audits and fire risk assessments.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Managing a list of properties that require tenancy audits
- Gaining access to properties and undertaking surveys to log any improvements or health & safety issues
- Raising any safeguarding concerns post-audit and liaising with Housing Officers if they need support with the tenants
- Conducting fire risk assessments in the general areas, e.g. checking smoke alarms, ensuring there are no obstructions for fire exits
- Reporting back to office to upload data gathered and ensure it is tracked accordingly or passed over to the correct teams
Experience required:
- Experience conducting tenancy audits
- Experience with housing management, ASB and safeguarding
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively and independently
Working hours:
- 37 a week
- Monday – Friday
- 9am-5pm
