Job description
We are currently partnering with a leading Housing Association based in Merseyside, who are recruiting for a Housing Management Solicitor to join their growing team on a permanent basis.
Our client is a large affordable housing provider and developer in the North West of England, managing over 8,000 homes and operating as a major regeneration group
This is a full-time position with a salary of £58,255 per annum and the start date is subject to notice.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Supporting the Group Head of Legal Services where required in performing housing management related matters i.e. anti-social behaviour (injunctions and possession), disrepair, compliance injunctions, possession
Directly line managing two junior housing solicitors and a disrepair caseworker/legal executive
Carrying a workload of both pre and post issue cases spanning both claimant and defendant disciplines
Drafting pleadings, statements, interlocutory applications and representing the organisation in court on matters excluding trials
Supporting the Group Head of Legal Services where required in ensuring the business meets the corporate and strategic aspirations
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years PQE
Management experience
Rounded Housing law experience
