We are currently partnering with a leading Housing Association based in Merseyside, who are recruiting for a Housing Management Solicitor to join their growing team on a permanent basis.

Our client is a large affordable housing provider and developer in the North West of England, managing over 8,000 homes and operating as a major regeneration group

This is a full-time position with a salary of £58,255 per annum and the start date is subject to notice.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Supporting the Group Head of Legal Services where required in performing housing management related matters i.e. anti-social behaviour (injunctions and possession), disrepair, compliance injunctions, possession
• Directly line managing two junior housing solicitors and a disrepair caseworker/legal executive
• Carrying a workload of both pre and post issue cases spanning both claimant and defendant disciplines
• Drafting pleadings, statements, interlocutory applications and representing the organisation in court on matters excluding trials
• Supporting the Group Head of Legal Services where required in ensuring the business meets the corporate and strategic aspirations

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years PQE
• Management experience
• Rounded Housing law experience
