Job description

We are currently partnering with a leading Housing Association in the Greater Manchester area, who are recruiting for a Fire Safety and Compliance Manager to join their growing team on a temporary basis for 3 months.

This is a full-time position with a fantastic negotiable hourly rate based on experience and the position is due to start as soon as possible.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Overseeing all elements of compliance and Contractor management in relation to lifts, car park lighting, fire safety, door entries and CCTV

  • Overseeing a range of Contractors to ensure that all of the organisations legal compliance requirements are met

  • Ensuring all key performance indicators in relation to property management are achieved

  • Supporting the strategic lead in regards Building Safety & Compliance in compiling budgets, forecasts, actual spends and budgetary control

  • Ensuring both the implementation and delivery is complete in regards to all requirements of the building safety & compliance regime

  • Ensuring that all necessary compliance information and databases are being maintained

Experience required:

  • The ideal candidate must be experience in legionella, fire safety, asbestos, electrical safety, gas safety and heating.

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Full UK driving license

  • Experience working with IT software systems

  • Knowledge of new building safety regimes

  • Previous experience in developing and implementing innovative new technologies and systems
