We are currently working in partnership with a Devon based Local Authority, who are recruiting for a Environment and Waste Services Project Manager on a 12-month contract. The position is due to start immediately, with the potential to go full time. The daily rate of pay is negotiable up to £400 per day, paid via an Umbrella company.

The ideal candidate will have experience in waste management including the management of recycling centres and depots

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Enhancing digital and performance management capabilities of waste depot facilities, including full modernisation
• Applying Project Management principles to the effective delivery of project workstreams
• Monitoring project activities, budgets and resources
• Adjusting project plans as required
• Following established change control procedures
• Developing and maintaining communication plans
• Overseeing project closure and transition to business as usual, including evaluation
• Preparing and presenting project outcomes
