Job description
Our client, based in Kent, is currently recruiting for an Electrician on a 3-month temporary contract.
The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience for this position and a van will be provided for the position
The ideal candidate will have NVQ level 3, 18th Edition and 2391 test and inspection.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Install, service, and maintain electrical systems and appliances in accordance with the latest edition of The IET Wiring Regulations
- Carry out the installation, repair, inspection, and testing of electrical installations, ensuring the accurate completion of Electrical Certificates or Electrical Condition Reports
- Conduct EICRs and implement remedial upgrades in void properties, along with performing day-to-day electrical repairs
- Complete reactive maintenance tasks in line with specified requirements
- Advise the Supervisor promptly when additional trades are needed to complete tasks
- Collaborate with other operatives to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to specification
- Complete daily worksheets detailing work carried out, materials used, and any other relevant information after each job
Experience required:
- Experience required in Social Housing
- Experience working with customers within housing
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
- C&G 2360 Part 1&2 Electrotechnical Competences plus the NVQ 3 Certificate 2356 with Technical Certs L2&3 plus the NVQ 3 Certificate or NVQ 3 2356 certificate
- C&G 18th Edition Certificate
- C&G 2391
- Full UK driving license
