Job description
We are currently working in partnership with a national property surveying and consultancy who are looking to appoint a Damp & Mould Surveyor on a rolling temporary contract.
This will be a temporary position in the South of England covering Portsmouth, Southampton, Brighton, Swindon & Reading. The rate for this role is paying £45 per Tier 1 survey, between £200 - £250 per Tier 2 survey and between £500 - £600 per Tier 3 survey.
The ideal candidate will have experience conducting damp and mould surveys on social housing properties.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Delivering around 2-4 tier 2 & 3 damp and mould professional building surveys per day for major works programmes in social housing properties
Making recommendations to rectify a range of building defect issues, arising from poor thermal performance to excessive condensation, mould and damp
Writing reports and ensuring residents are aware of the works being done and any remedial works
Experience required:
Experience required in Social Housing
Experience conducting damp and mould surveys
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
Up to date knowledge and experience of technical issues concerning damp & mould
Ability to undertake building inspections, identifying repairs and maintenance issues
Able to write clear and concise reports with appropriate recommendations
