Job description

Our client, based in Northwest London, is currently recruiting for a Compliance Support Officer on a 2/3-month temporary contract.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is £24 per hour via an umbrella company, with 3-4 days working from home.

The ideal candidate will have experience working within a social housing setting previously, with a broad range of fire compliance knowledge!

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Support the delivery of the organisation’s Fire Compliance programme, ensuring statutory and regulatory obligations are met across all properties
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date fire/compliance data
  • Manage compliance databases and systems, ensuring data integrity, timely updates, and clear audit trails to support internal and external audits
  • Work closely with the Contracts Manager to coordinate fire safety works, monitor contractor performance, track progress against programmes, and flag risks or delays
  • Assist in the planning, scheduling, and monitoring of fire safety inspections, testing, and remedial works, ensuring actions are completed within required timescales

Experience required:

  • Experience within compliance/building safety  
  • Resident liaison experience
  • Social Housing experience
