Our client, based in North London, is currently recruiting for a Building Surveyor on a 3-month temporary contract.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is up to £35 per hour via umbrella.

The ideal candidate will have all-round experience in Building Surveying, including; Reactive repairs, Disrepair, voids, Damp and Mould and Planned works.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Deliver a maintenance service to your specific region which will include responsive, cyclical and major repairs to both tenanted and void properties

• Diagnose maintenance requirements, ensure a good quality and H&S compliant works delivered

• Escalate any contract management performance issues

• Liaise with Contractors and Customers to arrange remedial works

• Have sound knowledge of building and H&S at work legislation, as well as procurement routes and construction practices

• Ensure allocated service request area actioned promptly and work orders are raised as appropriate

• Regularly monitor actual and forecast spend against allocated projects and jobs

Experience required:

• Experience required in Social Housing properties

• Experience in Building Surveying
