We are proud to be partnering with an award-winning homelessness charity with over 30 services across London, who are looking to appoint a Assistant Support Worker on a one month rolling contract.

This will be a full-time position based in South London, with hybrid working (2 days home working), paying £21.66 p/h via an Umbrella Company

The ideal candidate will have extensive administrative skills and ideally have experience working within clients who have previously experienced homelessness.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Providing floating support across several South London Boroughs

• Delivering tenancy sustainment advice to clients living in the private rented sector

• Monitoring tenants rent accounts and chase tenants rent arrears

• Signposting clients to additional support providers

• Providing welfare and benefit advice to clients

• Creating individualised risk assessments and support plans

Experience required:

• Experience required in working with homeless clients

• Experience working with clients within housing

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• Risk assessment and management

• Knowledge of relevant welfare legislation
