We are currently working in partnership with a charity based in Trowbridge, who are recruiting for a Youth Worker on a four month Fixed Term Contract (ongoing). The position is paying just over £28,800 per annum, FTE.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience supporting Young People to from a disadvantaged background to fulfil their potential, and gain independence.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Educate and mentor young people with complex needs
• Develop and implement education, training and employment activities and programmes
• Provide guidance and support to young people in their personal growth and development
• Assist and support young people to access and engage with support and ETE opportunities
• Foster a safe and inclusive environment for young people to thrive
• Collaborate with parents, referrers and other professionals to ensure the well-being of the young person
• Monitor and assess the progress of each young person
• Maintain accurate records of activities, incidents, and observations 

Experience required:

• Working with young people in a trauma-informed way

• Promote independence with a vulnerable client group

Working hours:

• 37.5 hours per week

• Monday - Friday

• 9am-5pm
