Stock Condition Surveyor
Job description
We are currently working in partnership with a renowned industry leading property services consultancy who are looking to appoint a Stock Condition Surveyor on a 7-month contract.
This will be a temporary position based in Newcastle, with a rate per survey of £20 per flat, £24 per house, £26 per block.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a stock condition surveyor in the social housing sector.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Conducting stock condition surveys on Social Housing units
Ensuring buildings are designed and constructed so that there are appropriate provisions for the early warning of fire, and appropriate means of escape in case of fire from the building to a place of safety
Liaising with and engaging with residents in regards to work carried out
Achieving the required surveys per day based on relevant targets
Experience required:
Prior role in Social Housing
A previous role as a Stock Condition Surveyor
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
Knowledge of fire safety regulations
Communications skills in dealing with residents
