We are looking for a confident Senior Engagement Officer to support one of our key clients on a 9 month temporary contract to cover a secondment. 

 

This is a hybrid position (2 days home working), based in central Birmingham and they are looking for someone with strong experience in content creation, copywriting, social media engagement and event planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting the development and delivery of the engagement plan to grow an engaged and active community, and drive participation events and collaborations through a multi-channel approach (which could include but is not limited to, website, social, media, email, print, PR and communications, events and awards)
• Creating, curating and commissioning high-quality, engaging content across multiple formats (including copy, photography, video, audio, and infographics)
• Planning, delivering, managing and hosting events and activities, including live panel discussions, podcasts and interviews
• Collaborating with the Marketing, Recruitment & Communications teams to align engagement, content, and communication plans and identify opportunities to co-create and repurpose mutually beneficial content

About You:

• Hold a degree in a relevant area such as journalism, PR and comms, digital content creation, digital marketing, event management or equivalent work experience
• Experience in creating content plans and creating, curating, commissioning and sharing content in a variety of formats on multiple channels
• Experience and confidence to plan, deliver and host key events and activities from live panel discussions to podcast interviews
• Excellent IT skills including advanced knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets and presentation software packages, preferably Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent interpersonal skills with an articulate, confident and diplomatic approach to communications
