Senior Salesforce Developer
Location: London (Hybrid: 2 days office-based, 3 days remote)
Salary: £80,000 - £90,000
Our client is seeking a highly technical and hands-on Senior Salesforce Developer with strong expertise across Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of the end-to-end development lifecycle within a large and complex Salesforce environment, driving forward the organisation’s digital transformation initiatives.
The Senior Salesforce Developer will play a pivotal role in developing, integrating, and maintaining Salesforce platforms, ensuring scalable, high-quality solutions are delivered across Marketing, Service, and Experience Cloud. You will lead a small team of developers while remaining hands-on with coding, integration, and architecture, delivering robust technical solutions that align with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and support the Salesforce Development Team, fostering best practice and continuous improvement
- Take full ownership of end-to-end Salesforce solution delivery, from design and development through to testing, deployment, and optimisation
- Develop, integrate, and maintain Salesforce features across Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions
- Ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to Salesforce best practices
- Manage and prioritise workloads, ensuring timely delivery of key projects and initiatives
- Drive innovation and technical excellence across the Salesforce ecosystem
Essential Skills & Experience
- Certified Salesforce Developer
- Proven, hands-on technical expertise across Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud
- Demonstrable experience delivering end-to-end Salesforce development projects, from requirement gathering to implementation and support
- Strong background in Apex, LWC, API integrations, and general Salesforce configuration and customisation
- Previous experience leading or mentoring other developers in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a proactive, solution-focused approach
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
