Job description
We are proud to be partnering with a UK leading specialist engineering contractor who are key player in developing and maintaining Britain’s built environment. They are looking to appoint a Senior Project Manager (Cladding & Facades) on a permanent basis.
This will be a full-time position based in London and a salary of £65,000 - £75,000.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in delivering complex façade and cladding projects to support their continued growth in the built environment sector.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Leading the end-to-end delivery of cladding and façade works, including curtain walling, rainscreen systems, glazing, insulation, and architectural detailing
- Managing multidisciplinary teams, including direct labour and specialist subcontractors, ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and productivity
- Collaborating closely with clients, design teams, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and coordination across all project phases
- Developing and managing detailed project programmes, budgets, and resource plans to ensure delivery on time and within budget
- Monitoring project performance, identifying risks, and implementing mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes
Experience required:
- Proven experience in delivering complex façade and cladding projects, ideally within Tier 1 or specialist subcontractor environments
- Professional membership (e.g., CIOB, RICS, CWCT) is desirable
- Managing large-scale, multi-disciplinary teams across multiple locations
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
- Strong technical knowledge of cladding systems, fire compliance, and façade engineering
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors
- Effective leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
