Job description

We are currently working in partnership with a Fitness Company based in Central London, who are recruiting for a Senior HR Generalist on a fixed-term contract of 9 months with a possible extension to 12 months. The position is due to start in March/April 2024. The salary for this position is around £45,000 per annum based on experience and can be negotiable.

The ideal candidate must be CIPD L5 qualified and an overall team player with an abundance of experience dealing with case management.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Providing up to date Employment Law / ACAS process advice to all levels of management for handling all types of ER cases and handbook policies, and completing relevant documentation/communication when needed

  • Working alongside the CFO, covering all aspects of payroll processing, administration and reporting when the HR Director is on annual leave

  • Responding to various HR, recruitment and payroll related employee queries via Teams, email, phone or in person where necessary

  • Delivering the HR sections of the weekly induction process

  • Managing of several elements of L&D including the e-learning platform GO1, the Funded Education Policy & compulsory management trainings

Experience required:

  • Experience in case management

  • Experience in complex ER casework from beginning to end

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Up to date employment law knowledge

  • Minimum CIPD Level 5 qualification

  • Minimum of 2 years in either a relevant HR role or a management position

  • Microsoft Excel experience

  • Monday – Friday, 9am-6pm (can be flexible dependent on workload)

  • 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home (may vary)
