Job description
We are currently working in partnership with a social housing provider based in West Midlands who are recruiting for a Resourcing Specialist on a 6 month fixed term contract. This is a remote role with ad hoc travel across the West Midlands when required. The position is due to start as soon possible and the full time annual salary is £37,700.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience working in a recruitment environment, ideally within an in-house recruitment team.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Liaising with line managers and/or HR regarding their recruitment needs for both permanent and temporary vacancies
- Supporting managers with developing and updating job descriptions and person specifications as required and in conjunction with HRBP's
- Coordinating with external recruitment providers as necessary
- Oversee administration, maintenance and continuous improvements of the E-Recruitment system and recruitment processes
- Taking detailed briefs from hiring managers and advising them on the best recruitment campaign and selection activities while ensuring they are compliant with Group policies and procedures
- To work with managers to prepare induction and on-boarding programmes for new starters
- Screening and sourcing internal and external candidates from a variety of sources
- Proactively building, developing and maintaining a pipeline of candidates
- Respond to recruitment enquiries from internal and external candidates, to include advising and supporting hiring managers in preparing feedback to unsuccessful candidates as required
- Recruitment administration; including writing job adverts and social media posts
- Oversee candidate pool to increase quality and diversity of applicants,
and ensure a positive candidate experience - Work closely with HR Business Partners and managers to understand resourcing issues and workforce planning impacts
- Monitor job market trends (e.g. external demand, skills shortages, salary benchmarking etc)
Experience required:
- End to end recruitment experience
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
- Up to date knowledge of recruitment related UK employment legislation and the ability
to apply this - Compliance and due diligence
Working hours:
- 35 hours per week
- Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm
