Job description

We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in West London, who are recruiting for a Senior Repairs Manager on a permanent basis. The salary offered for the role is between £73,000 - £81,400 per annum dependant upon experience.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing a responsive repairs budget portfolio of circa £4m and demonstrate a customer focused culture, focussing on contract management and operational performance.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Assume full accountability for the management and control of an annual budget of approximately £4 million, ensuring effective financial planning and cost management
  • Lead and oversee the delivery of responsive repairs services, driving performance, efficiency, and high-quality outcomes
  • Develop, motivate, and manage a high-performing team, embedding a strong customer-focused culture and continuous improvement mindset
  • Analyse customer feedback and performance reports, acting as the escalation point for complex complaints to ensure timely resolution and high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Ensure full compliance with all current health & safety legislation, property regulations, statutory requirements, company policies, and industry best practice standards
  • Monitor and manage the performance of partners, consultants, and contractors delivering works under repairs programmes, ensuring contractual compliance, quality assurance, and value for money

Experience required:

  • Experience required in Social Housing
  • Experience delivering proactive and forward-thinking approach
  • Experience leading a repairs department

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Strategic thinker with a passion for driving commercial success
  • Financial management and budgeting
