Job description

Our client, based in North London, is currently recruiting for a Property Administrator to join their team on a 3 month temporary contract.

The client is a small housing association based in North London, and this is a full-time position with the working hours being 9-5, 38 hours per week (early finish on Fridays) with the hourly rate being negotiable dependent upon experience.

Due to the nature of the role, the client is looking for someone to be in the office 5 days per week and have be from a repairs background with experience providing an excellent level of customer service.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Organise and oversee the repair and maintenance of properties and communal areas
  • Serve as a point of contact for tenants, addressing their needs and concerns related to their homes
  • Liaise with contractors and operatives to schedule repairs and close out cases in a timely manner
  • Manage aspects of rent payments and arrears, and provide administrative and financial support to the Asset Management Team
  • Ensure compliance with established policies and procedures related to physical resources and service delivery
  • Maintain accurate records and data related to properties and services
  • Prepare reports on service performance and other housing data to inform decision-making

Experience required:

  • Experience working with customers within a social housing setting
  • Experience within repairs, administration and scheduling

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Working knowledge of Social Housing Regulatory for building management and maintenance
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams
  • Working knowledge of Building Management database systems
