Job description

Our client, based in the Midlands, is currently looking for a Project Manager focused on EWI, on a fixed-term contract for 9 months. This will be a full-time position, with hybrid working (2/3 days home working) and a salary from £58,000 per annum and a car allowance of £2,500.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience of external works surveys on housing stock.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Overseeing the team delivery and managing Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) actions and improvement projects

  • Ensuring project timelines, quality standards, and health & safety compliance are met

  • Allocating FRA actions to appropriate contractors and managing them through to certified completion

  • Engaging daily with contractors and colleagues to ensure smooth delivery and customer communication

  • Supporting the Director of Operations in managing repair demand, packaging work, and mobilizing subcontractors

  • Maintaining financial control, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with business outcomes

  • Overseeing receipt of External Wall Surveys (EWS), working with consultants and fire safety leads to procure and appointing contractors

  • Acting as the client contract administrator for EWS projects, managing communication, addressing complaints, and ensuring timely, budgeted, high-quality delivery

Expertise required:

  • Experience of external work surveys on housing stock

  • Ideally be qualified in a relevant discipline, MCIOH, RIBA, MRITP.

Working hours:

  • 37 hours per week

  • Monday – Friday
