Product Owner
Location: Lincoln / Hybrid
Salary: £52,000–£60,000
A growing organisation is enhancing its digital capability and seeking a Product Owner to help shape and deliver high-value digital services.
This role suits someone who can balance product strategy with hands-on Agile delivery and is confident working with senior stakeholders, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.
Role Overview
As Product Owner, you’ll lead one or more Agile Product Teams, manage and prioritise the product backlog, and define a clear vision and roadmap. You'll translate complex requirements into deliverable user stories, drive continuous improvement using data and feedback, and ensure teams stay aligned with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and prioritise the product backlog based on business value
- Define product goals, roadmaps, and measurable outcomes
- Liaise between technical teams, stakeholders, and leadership
- Translate requirements into clear user stories and iterative deliverables
- Monitor performance and drive ongoing optimisation
- Lead supplier relationships and hold partners to account
- Support Agile ceremonies and backlog refinement
- Promote best practice across frameworks such as GDAD, ITIL 4, and security-by-design
- Encourage adoption of platforms including Microsoft Fabric, Power Platform, and automation tools
About You
- Experience as a Product Owner or in a similar digital product role
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, Lean)
- Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and suppliers across complex projects
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-engagement skills
- Familiarity with platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, Power Platform, and enterprise systems
- Interest in emerging technologies, automation, and continuous improvement
- Certifications welcome but not essential
