Our client, based in the East Midlands, is currently recruiting for a Plasterer on a 3-month temporary contract, with a view to extending. The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis, with an hourly rate of up to £25 per hour via an umbrella company.

The ideal candidate will have experience working within social housing and hold a relevant NVQ level 2 or equivalent.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Carrying out general reactive plastering, skimming ceilings, hacking off and damp course then re-skimming on void social housing properties

• Carrying out associated secondary trade activities

• Contributing to the delivery of high levels of customer service and the achievement of operational KPIs for a first-time fix

• Assessing risks prior to carrying out work and abide by appropriate Health and Safety measures

• Getting involved in any other multi-trade tasks that may arise as required

Expertise required:

• Ideally have experience within social housing

• Extensive experience of plastering, and other trades works

Working hours:

• 37 hours per week

• Monday – Friday
