Job description

We are currently working in partnership with a healthcare clinic based in Cambridgeshire, who are recruiting for a Patient Services Advisor to join their growing team on a permanent basis.

This is a full-time position with a salary of £26,500. Additional benefits include up to two days working from home, 25 days annual leave + bank holidays, pension contribution and healthcare cash plan.

The successful candidate will ideally have experience working in a sales setting. Having empathy and compassion are key skills alongside a soft sales approach. A Driving License and access to a car is essential for this role.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Helping the clinic achieve its business volume targets by converting enquiries through agreed personal and team targets

  • Ensuring that prospective patients are guided to the most suitable treatment and testing options based on their needs

  • Taking responsibility for the conversion of enquiries into bookings through the proactive management of all enquiries to drive conversion opportunities from lead generation activity

  • Managing responses within set KPIs for all channels of patient enquiry

  • Accurately inputting data in regard to patient demographic and referral details

  • Handling inbound and outbound calls

  • Acting as an ambassador for the clinic and role model behaviours that reflect the company’s core values

Expertise and skills required:

  • Strong customer/communication skills

  • Handling sensitive data with absolute discretion

  • Ideally have a background in the Healthcare sector or customer service/call centre experience

  • Experience in the use of databases

  • Driving license and access to a car

  • Soft sales approach

  • Empathetic and compassionate

Working hours:

  • Monday – Friday

  • 37.5 hours

  • 8.00am – 4.00pm, 9.00am – 5.00pm (Rota)
