We are proud to be partnering with an reputable Housing Association based in Pembrokeshire, who are looking to appoint an Independent Living Officer on a 2-3 month contract.

This will be a full-time position based in Tenby, with a rate up to £20.00 umbrella for the right experience. A car and a DBS is required for this role.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting those over the age off 55+, however a general background in Housing Support, will also be considered.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Helping clients 55+ to sustain independent living within their property
• Checking fire doors and fire alarms on a weekly basis
• Liaising with extenral agencies
• Organisaing community activites to help engage clients
• Handling low level ASB complaints and montioring rent arrears
• Checking emergency pull cords

Experience required:

• Experience required in Social Housing
• Experience working with customers within housing

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• Risk assessment and management
• Enthusiasm and empathetic
• Good IT skills

Working hours:

• 35 hours per week
• Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm
