Job description

We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in the North West, who are recruiting for an Income Officer on a temporary three-month contract that has potential to go permanent.

The position is due to start immediately, on a full-time basis. The hourly rate of pay is negotiable dependant on experience in the Housing Management field.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Chasing current tenant arrears
  • Sending out escalation letters to former tenants and processing serious cases for court
  • Holding responsibility for a patch of properties and handling their rent accounts
  • Carrying out payment plans with tenants
  • Assisting customers to pay by direct debit and claim universal credit and working with tenants to set up appropriate bank accounts
  • Working with vulnerable adults with varying disabilities
  • Providing advice and support to tenants over the phone surrounding Universal Credit
  • Experience required:

    • Experience required in Social Housing
    • Experienced in Housing Management

    Working hours:

    • 36 hours per week
    • Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
