Job description
Our client, based in Suffolk, is currently recruiting for a HR Supervisor (Standalone HR Manager) on a permanent basis, with a salary ranging from £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in standalone position or have set up a HR agenda beforehand, and also have a driving license and access to a vehicle.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Overseeing the daily operations of the Human Resources Department
Tracking Human Resource metrics, analysing trends, and making data-driven decisions
Generating effectiveness reports and identifying and addressing training needs
Overseeing outsourced payroll provision and liaising with pension providers as and when required
Ensuring compliance with employment laws and advising on HR legal issues and streamlining processes / maintaining accurate records with Human Resource platforms
Setting goals, providing feedback, and conducting reviews with department heads
Enhancing engagement, satisfaction, and retention through initiatives and surveys
Supporting physical, mental, and emotional health initiatives
Promoting company values and integrity through leadership
Fostering a respectful, fair, and inclusive culture and keeping employees informed and promoting open communication
Expertise required:
Motivated self-starter who can set and agenda and deliver
Up to date knowledge of employment law and employee relations procedures
Experience of managing employee relations cases end-to-end, including dismissal
Proven experience in a similar role with CIPD qualification or working towards
Must hold a current driving license as you will be required to travel
