Job description
We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association operating across London, who are looking to appoint a Housing Officer on a permanent basis.
This will be a full-time position based in Central London, with hybrid working (3 days home working) and a salary of £38,000 per annum.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Housing Officer, hold a Basic DBS and also have access to their own vehicle.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Delivering face-to-face tenancy management and support customers throughout their tenancy lifecycle
- Managing tenancy changes and enforcement, including legal action for breaches and dealing with complex enquiries
- Promote community engagement and safety, resolving nuisance behaviour and building strong local relationships
- Safeguarding vulnerable residents by identifying needs, signposting to support, and escalating concerns
- Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to deliver excellent customer service and tenancy sustainment
- Maintaining accurate records and stay informed on relevant legislation, policies, and procedures
Experience required:
- Experience required in Social Housing
- Experience working for a Housing Association
