We are currently working in partnership with a Council based in Sussex, who are looking to appoint a Homeless Prevention Officer on a temporary basis for 3 months.

This will be a full-time position with a negotiable rate.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years’ experience in homeless prevention, a full UK licence and a Basic DBS.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Assessing clients at the hotel and obtaining relevant documentation
• Identifying the most appropriate pathways, facilitating referrals and move on
• Identify support needs and liaise with partner agencies to meet these needs
• Support with resettlement into permanent accommodation
• Delivering monthly Workshops at the hotel

Experience required:

• Minimum of 3 years as a Homeless Prevention Officer

• Mon – Fri
• 9am – 5pm
• 3 day working from home
