Our client, based across the South West, is currently recruiting for an Health and Safety Advisor on a permanent contract.

The position is due to start as soon as possible and the salary for the role is £42,515.

The successful candidate must hole an IOSH Membership as well as NEBOSH General certificate.  

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Ensuring that managers comply with the Health and Safety Act of 1974 and other relevant Construction legislation

• Creating risk assessments and making sure that they comply with current Health and Safety legislation

• Carrying out Health and Safety audits and site inspections across a patch of construction sites

• Undertaking in house Health and Safety training for a range of different staff

• Utilising knowledge of CDM regulations and construction legislation when carrying out audits, assessments and training

• Partnering with both the Health and Safety Manager and the Head of Health and Safety, as well as the HR team to continuously improve the Health and Safety strategy

Experience required:

• Experience of CDM Regulations

• Health and Safety Management systems including OHSAS BS: 45001:2018
