We are working in partnership with a prestigious charity based in London, who is currently recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to join their fast-growing team.
The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis, offering a salary ranging from £40,000 to £43,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Hybrid working is offered including two days working from home, however the successful candidate will be expected to be on site full time for the first couple months.
Duties will include (but not limited to):
Managing one Business Analyst and reporting into the Head of FinanceProducing the monthly management accounts including a budget of c. £4million across four directoratesMeeting regularly with budget holders and providing support on all finance-related mattersDealing with analysis of variances to budget and forecast, and produced a high-level executive summary including financial KPIs and highlightsResponsible for inter-company reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliationsWorking with the Finance Director to maintain the Treasury and prepare cash flow forecasting, as well as the mid/long-term Business PlanPreparing annual statutory accounts and papers for the year-end audit, and liaising with auditors as necessaryExperience required:
At least five years’ experience preparing management accounts Experience of managing staff and carrying out 121 appraisalsExperience of preparing reports for year-end audit and liaising with auditorsMulti-sector experience including working within the Not-for-Profit sectorAble to communicate effectively with Senior ManagementRewards and Benefits:
