Job description

We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in Portishead, who are recruiting for a Damp and Mould Surveying Project Manager on a rolling three-month contract.

The position is due to start immediately, with the potential to go full time. The hourly rate of pay is negotiable dependent on experience.

The ideal candidate will have carried out domestic/commercial damp and mould surveys, Social Housing experience and be able to start the role immediately.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Surveying domestic Social Housing properties and diagnosing Damp & Mould issues

  • Writing specifications for jobs and raising orders for remedial works related to these issues

  • Reviewing Contractor work and monitoring Damp & Mould remedial works

  • Supporting relevant teams with Damp & Mould inspections to ensure properties are safe and warm before being let to customers

  • Assisting the responsive repairs team and survey/writing specifications for day-to-day maintenance works within the Association’s properties

Requirements:

  • Full driving license

  • Social Housing experience

  • A Formal Building qualification such as a RICs accredited course, BSC, HNC, HND

  • A working knowledge of Schedule of Rates

  • Good working knowledge of CDM regulations

  • Awareness of HHSRS risks

  • NEBOSH is desired

Working hours:

  • 37 hours per week

  • Start and finish times are flexible
