Job description

We are proud to be partnering with a reputable Housing Association who are looking to appoint a 6-month temporary Contracts and Compliance Manager that can interview and start within the coming weeks.

This will be a full-time position based in Surrey, with hybrid working (2/3 days home working).

The rate is £350 per day via UMB.

Due to the nature of the role, it is essential for candidates to have experience in delivering servicing and compliance programmes along with cyclical maintenance contracts within the Housing Association or Local Authority sector.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • To be responsible and ensure all servicing and maintenance of equipment and fixed assets, along with inspections and surveys are carried out across the stock portfolio
  • To be responsible for any works which are classed as service chargeable and require a cyclical programme to maintain our property portfolio through internal Repairs Team, external contractors and consultants
  • Ensure all actions or remedial works identified through servicing, maintenance, inspections, surveys and checks across our property portfolio are followed up, addressed, closed and recorded
  • Line management and supervision of Administrator (Compliance and Servicing) to ensure service delivery in accordance with the remit of their role and to support the Contracts and Compliance Manager
  • Where required put in place, agree, implement, review and manage relevant programmes around servicing, maintenance, inspections, surveys, checks and maintenance regimes across the stock portfolio
  • Experience required:

    • Have experience in delivering servicing and compliance programmes
    • Must have experience of cyclical maintenance contracts within the Housing Association or Local Authority sector

    Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

    • Relevant qualification to BTEC HND/HNC level
    • Health and Safety experience or qualification applicable to this role
    • CIBSE qualified, or other relevant body
