Job description

Our client, based in the West of England, is currently recruiting for a Construction Lawyer on a 6 – 12 month temporary contract.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience for this position.

The ideal candidate will have experience working on construction contracts, specifically knowledge of acting on energy matters, ideally within the Local Authority setting.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Advising on complex and high value construction contracts including NEC & JCT contracts, providing sound legal advice on behalf of the Council

  • Specifically acting on projects involving renewable energy matters throughout the city

  • Liaising with key stakeholders in regards to ongoing construction projects and contracts of a varying nature

Experience required:

  • Experience required in construction contracts

  • Experience working on energy matters
