Job description
Our client, based in Hertfordshire, is currently recruiting for a Complex Needs Worker on a 3-month temporary contract with the potential to go permanent.
The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience for this position with the permanent salary being £33,707 per year.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with clients with complex needs, hold an enhanced DBS taken out within the last three years.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Managing a caseload of between 7-10 complex needs clients in a residential setting
Working in partnership with other service providers such as mental health nurses and psychiatrists
Providing safeguarding for the service
Carrying out risk assessments
Implementing support plans
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
Previous experience working with people who have complex needs
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Good organisational and time management skills
Awareness of and ability to comply with relevant health and safety legislation
Ability to work effectively without supervision
Working hours:
37.5 hours per week
Variable shift patterns: Start no earlier than 08:00 and finish no later than 21:00
One weekend in four
