Our Local Authority client based in Oxfordshire, is currently recruiting for a Civil Litigation Lawyer on a locum basis, for 3-months initially with potential for extension.

The role offers home working with attendance required on a monthly basis, and the rate is negotiable subject to PQE.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Managing a full caseload of legal work in regards to Civil Litigation, including Education Law, SEN and judicial review from end to end

• Providing expert advice on the management of complex and contentious legal issues

• Drafting and negotiating a range of documents and agreements

• Representing the Council at a range of hearings and tribunal cases, including SEN tribunals and contested final hearings

Experience required:

• Experience required in Local Government

Working hours:

• 37 hours per week

• Monday – Friday
