Job description

We are currently partnering with a leading Property & Construction Consultancy, who are recruiting for a Bid/Proposal Writer to join their growing team on a permanent basis.

Our client is proud to have a bespoke range of services to corporate clients and public bodies across the UK and Europe working on world-renowned projects.

This is a full-time position with a salary ranging from £45,000 - £55,000 subject to experience and the start date is subject to notice.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Assisting the Line Manager in developing a proposal approach and structure

  • Leading bid strategy sessions (story boarding) with bid / proposal team members and key stakeholders

  • Identifying and re-work existing pre-written content where relevant

  • Gathering inputs for bid responses from a variety of stakeholders, typically technical/delivery teams, commercial, finance & marketing

  • Delivering completed written proposal responses to the Line Manager against agreed RFP requirements, evaluation criteria and deadlines, escalating issues in a timely manner

Experience required:

  • Minimum 5 years‘ experience as a bid writer

  • Ideally certified to APMP Foundation or Practitioner Level

  • Ideally has worked in a multi-disciplinary construction consultancy

  • Degree educated with extensive writing experience /professional writing background

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Advanced MS Word skills & proficient in MS Office package
