Whilst our first Technology placement came in 2014, the working relationship between Selwood Housing Society and James Andrews developed in Nov 2022 following our appointment to their Recruitment Agency PSL.

Since then, we have placed Infrastructure Engineers, an IT Operations & Infrastructure Analyst and a PowerApps Developer, often securing candidates quickly where other agencies and direct adverts had struggled. We supported Selwood with permanent placements as well as interim staff on flexible contracts whilst they transitioned to a permanent workforce.

How do we succeed?

To provide Selwood with well-suited candidates with high-level technical skills , we take a proactive approach to candidate sourcing. On a daily basis we search for, register and interview talent that may suit their requirements. Our approach includes;

  • Working in partnership with the Talent team to fully understand their requirements as part of our ‘right first time’ approach, including fine-tuning job descriptions for urgent temporary posts to accurately reflect technical needs and cultural fit

  • Our consultants are experts in Technology recruitment and use our established network of candidates to recommend well-matched hires within moments

  • Broad searches of active and passive professionals using a multi-resource approach

  • Dynamic advertising campaigns on jobs boards with proven track records in resourcing Technology professionals

What do our results look like?

We have been proud to provide Selwood Housing Society with a range of reliable Technology candidates in instances where other agencies were unable to provide suitable applicants, helping them to maintain key services for their customers.
