Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading public transport company based in Birmingham which is currently recruiting for a Talent Acquisition Partner to join their expanding team on a six-month fixed term contract.

This full-time role is to start immediately and offers office hybrid working with a competitive salary of up to £45,000, depending on experience.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Delivering a business focussed cost effective and timely recruitment service to key internal customers ensuring the right candidates are placed in the right roles, at the right time

  • Coaching line managers to develop their capability in managing recruitment for their areas

  • Logging and tracking all resourcing activity on the HR system in compliance with company policy and procedures

  • Partnering with assigned business area to understand hiring requirements and assist in proactive recruitment planning and delivery and prioritise against business need

  • Ensuring delivery meets Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for quality, time, cost, and candidate experience

  • Delivering recruitment and assessment events for large scale recruitment campaigns

Experience required:

  • Managing multiple recruitment campaigns under high-volume conditions

  • Delivering full-cycle recruitment from sourcing to onboarding including using LinkedIn and other direct sourcing platforms to attract candidates

  • Designing and facilitating assessment centres and selection methods

  • Tracking recruitment activity and reporting key hiring metrics

  • Collaborating on workforce planning with operational teams

  • Ensuring a high-quality and consistent candidate experience

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Employment law relevant to recruitment

  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal

  • Literacy, numeracy, problem solving and analytical skills

Working hours:

  • Full-time, Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm
