Job description

We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in Somerset, who are recruiting for a Retrofit Surveyor. The salary is £39,000 per annum which can be paid on a daily/hourly rate.

The role is a 2 – 3-month contract, and the hours can be worked on either a part time or full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a driving licence and access to their own vehicle as well as recent working knowledge of retrofit and project management experience.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Managing the delivery of retrofit programmes within domestic properties, including liaising with tenants to explain ongoing works
  • Reporting on performance to provide feedback to external funders
  • Delivering pre-set action plans to reduce the association’s carbon footprint
  • Meeting grant funding requirements, including the full reporting procedure
  • Acting as the main point of contact for contractors and associated members of staff on site
  • Ensuring compliance with all PAS 20:35 requirements

    • Requirements:

  • Experience of project management and delivering on time, within budget
  • Social housing experience
  • Good interpersonal skills to communicate with colleagues, customers and contractors.
  • Full driving licence and access to their own vehicle
