Surveyor
Job description
We are currently partnering with a South Wales based Housing Association, who are recruiting for Project Surveyor to join their growing team.
This is a 6 month role with two options available:
Fixed-Term Contract with a salary of £42,000
Temporary position with a negotiable hourly rate via an Umbrella company
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Completing pre and post surveys and inspections on domestic properties for planned improvement and refurbishment works
Supervising contractors working under contract, including assessment of quality, compliance with contract conditions and safe working practises
Ensuring completed projects meet required standards and that all remedial works are completed
Leading projects and managing capital investment schemes, managing multiple projects concurrently from inception through to final account
Liaising closely with key stakeholders and tenants, giving updates on upcoming/ongoing works
Requirements:
Relevant HND / HNC construction qualification e.g. building surveying, quantity surveying or architectural
Experience completing surveys and writing specifications for planned works
Project management experience in a property or contracting context
Full UK driving license
