We are delighted to be representing a Housing Association based in West Yorkshire, who are looking for a Supported Housing Officer to join their passionate team.

The role can be considered on either a full-time permanent basis working 37.5 hours a week or a part-time Fixed Term contract working 25 hours per week until the end of March 2025. The salary for the role is £24,432 per annum.

The ideal candidate will have access to a vehicle and experience working with vulnerable adults and providing support advice.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Working with a caseload of vulnerable clients

• On a day-to-day basis, working on your own initiative, manage your own time and workload

• Carrying out risk assessments and creating support plans

• Helping with the homelessness in liaison with multi-agencies

• Working with property owners

• Supporting anti-social behaviour cases

• Carrying out tenancy management from both client and landlord perspectives

Experience required:

• Experience working alongside vulnerable customers and creating support plans

• Experience working in housing and homelessness

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• Risk assessment and management

• Knowledge of safeguarding children and vulnerable adults procedures

• Knowledge of housing and homelessness legislation and current welfare reforms

Working hours:

• 37.5 hours per week or 25 hours per week

• Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
