Job description

We are currently working in partnership with a Country wide charity, who are looking to appoint a Support Worker on a 3 Month contract.

This will be a full-time position based in Manchester, with a rate of pay that is negotiable based on experience.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the supported housing field and will have worked with tenants between the ages of 16 and 18.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Supporting 8 clients across 4 different properties

  • Working with and supporting 16–18-year-olds who are semi-independent to become fully independent

  • Providing clients with budgeting advice and take them to appointments when required

  • Carrying out support plans and update these when required

  • Helping clients to sustain tenancies and find move on accommodation

  • Liaising with external agencies on a regular basis

  • Encouraging clients to manage their own calenders

Experience required:

  • Experience working for a Housing Association or Charity

  • Experience working within support

Working hours:

  • 35 hours per week

  • Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
