Job description
Our client, based in Central London, is currently recruiting for a Senior Building Surveyor on a permanent contract.
The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis with a hybrid-working model. The salary is negotiable dependent on experience for the role.
The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Building Surveyor or working towards this at a minimum and have experience in the housing sector. It is also essential for the candidate to have a full UK driving license.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Collaborating with local council and housing associations on maintenance contracts in the social housing sector
Completing site inspections and maintaining records of these visits, including any inspection findings
Diagnosing any issues and drawing up reports in order to resolve these defects
Reporting to the line manager to ensure surveys are administered and registered efficiently
Taking part in regular performance meetings and development improvement programmes
Experience required:
Extensive surveying experience
RICS or working towards
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
Excellent communication and writing skills
Housing sector knowledge

Working hours:
40 hours per week
Monday – Friday (offering 2 days working from home)
8:30 - 17:00, but can be flexible to offer work/life balance
