Job description
We are currently partnering with an established multi-disciplinary property and construction consultancy in Manchester, who are recruiting for a Retrofit Coordinator to join their growing team on a permanent basis.
Our client is an RICS registered consultancy who deliver project management, cost consultancy, building surveying, retrofit, fire safety and principal designer services to all areas of the construction and property industry.
This is a full-time position with a salary band of £45,000-£55,000and the start date is on notice.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Ensuring compliance with PAS 2035 and understanding of PAS 2030 standards
- Overseeing and managing retrofit projects from assessment to delivery
- Reviewing and quality-checking Retrofit Assessments and Designs
- Providing expert advice on improvement measures and additional survey requirements
- Conducting desktop analysis and site visits, producing detailed reports
- Collaborating with internal and external design teams
- Identifying thermal bridges and simulating improvements using SAP modelling
- Attending project meetings, preparing minutes, and supporting CPD activities
- Contributing to research, marketing, and knowledge-sharing initiatives
Experience required:
- Level 5 Diplomas in Retrofit
- Building Surveying degree
- Membership of a Trustmark Approved Scheme
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
- 12 – 18 months experience in delivering Retrofit Assessment Services to clients
- Have in-depth knowledge of the Retrofit process and the roles of all stakeholders identified within PAS 2035
