Job description

We are currently partnering with a Local Government, who are recruiting for a Principal Commerical Property Solicitor to join their growing team on a temporary basis of 3-6-months with the opportunity to go permanent.

This is a full-time position (30-36-hours) with a start date of the w/c 23.6.25.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Managing a varied caseload of complex commercial property matters with a particular focus on cabinet for commitee, commercial disposal and community assetts
  • Assisting the team with overflow work with complex or clerical queries
  • Advising on trust and charity landwork
  • Drafting and negotiating contracts, transfers and leases
  • Advising clients on governance
  • Providing advice to internal and external stakeholders

Experience required:

  • Must be a qualified Solicitor/Barrister/CILEX
  • Experience required in a Local Government Setting
