We are delighted to be representing an esteemed not-for-profit organisation based in Suffolk, who are looking for a Reconnect Worker to join their passionate team on a permanent basis

The position is due to start immediately with the annual salary for the role being £24,000 per annum.

The ideal candidate will have an enhanced DBS dated within the last 3 years, drive and have access to their own vehicle.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Processing referrals and providing updates to referrer on assessment outcome

• Learning to conduct in-depth needs assessments for all suitable referrals

• Supporting service users as they move on by creating support plans

• Using a holistic approach to support clients in line with individual and team targets

• Ensuring that service users are fully connected with local services in preparation for release into the community

• Maintaining excellent partnerships with external agencies and key-stakeholders

Experience required:

• Experience working within substance misuse services

• Experience carrying out assessments and risk management plans

• Experience delivering structured interventions to service users

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• Knowledge of issues facing substance misusers

• Knowledge of the recovery agenda

• Knowledge of safeguarding
