Job description
We are currently working with a leading Surveying practice that is recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor/Employers Agent on a permanent basis in their North London office.
The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The salary for this role is ranging from £40,000 - £70,000 depending on seniority.
The ideal candidate will have experience working within a surveying consultancy and have exposure working on social housing projects.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Preparing budget estimates, cost plans, cost checking procedures and tender documents as required
Completing tender return reviews and evaluations as necessary
Producing employers’ requirement documentation as well as JCT and development agreement documents
Formulating contract instructions, payment notices and certificates denoted by the relevant form of contract
Maintaining financial summaries for each project as directed and preparing monthly cost and cash flow reports
Experience required:
Experience within a multi-disciplinary consultancy
Ideally be chartered or working towards chartership
Worked on social housing projects
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
Confident to work autonomously
Able to complete contract administration and monitor staff performance
Capacity to work under pressure and to deadlines
